SafeGuard™ H2O offers facilities an affordable, non-hazardous and environmentally sustainable solution to address trace metal and inorganic contaminants. Watch now to learn more about the SafeGuard™ H2O in-situ reagent generation process and its operational advantages over bulk chemical and electrocoagulation.
AMS offers a range of water quality instruments that monitor inorganic , organic and trace metal contaminants in real-time. Our mission-critical instruments have an unmatched reputation for accuracy and reliability. Every AMS online water quality monitoring system is supported by remote, 24/7 factory monitoring to ensure the quick identification and remediation of operational issues. Our unique approach minimizes downtime and optimizes performance. When integrated into a drinking, process, or wastewater remediation control strategy, the Instran® , MetalGuard™, SafeGuard™, SafeGuard™ Pro, SafeGuard™ Sentinel, and THM-100™ products serve as an essential element to ensure water quality.
Looking to achieve phosphate removal without any of the process limitations found in bulk chemicals or electrocoagulation? Watch AMS CEO Rick Bacon’s insightful presentation on AMS’ SafeGuard™ H2O in-situ reagent generation technology which offers a disruptive innovation for facilities looking to manage phosphate in a cost-effective, environmentally sustainable and carbon neutral manner.
Viewpoints: Driving Carbon Neutrality with Real-Time Online Monitoring and Intelligent Treatment Solutions
Moving and treating water and wastewater are energy-intensive processes that result in considerable greenhouse gas emissions and ultimately contribute to climate change. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is key to preventing the detrimental effects of climate change on the environment, water availability and human health. Improving energy efficiency is an essential part of keeping carbon emissions under control; spurring continuous upgrades to water and wastewater treatment processes that reduce the amount of energy, chemicals and other resources used. By investing in online and predictive analytical solutions, along with advanced intelligent treatment solutions, the global water treatment industry can achieve cost efficiency and carbon neutrality.
Technology Overview: SafeGuard™ H2O In-Situ Ferrous/Ferric Generation System for Phosphate Removal
SafeGuard™ H2O is a fully automated in-situ ferrous/ferric generation system that provides utilities, large to small, with an affordable, non-hazardous and environmentally sustainable solution for phosphate removal. On-site reagent generation delivers 60% cost savings and rapid ROI. This novel technology, poised to displace toxic bulk chemicals, uses a certified iron precursor and an in-situ electrolytic generator to create a ferrous/ferric reagent onsite and on demand. The SafeGuard H2O process is simple, effective and sustainable.
Rick Bacon, CEO of AMS, provides an in-depth review of the lessons learned from 2021 and outlook for AMS in 2022 and beyond. AMS has developed disruptive solutions to address several of the pressing problems facing the global industrial and municipal water treatment industry while actively supporting the drive to net-zero-carbon. Through a technology platform of advanced solutions to analyze and treat trace metal and inorganic contaminants, AMS helps enterprises to meet stringent regulatory standards aimed at protecting human health and the environment in as carbon neutral a way as possible.
SafeGuard™ H2O System Testing for NSF/ANSI 61 Standard
AMS Sr. Product Manager, Vladimir Dozortsev, Ph.D., offers a quick preview of the innovative SafeGuard™ H2O in-situ reagent generation system undergoing testing for NSF/ANSI 61 Standard. A 10 gpm SafeGuard H2O stannous generation system was used in the test. The fully automated system generates a reagent on demand, providing economical and reliable treatment of a wide range of contaminants for small and large water systems.
The Instran® nitrate analyzer provides rapid, real-time, multi-stream reliable analysis of nitrate in both drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. The online analyzer provides high frequency data on nitrate levels in nine minutes with sensitivity down to 0.01 ppm.
The Instran® free ammonia analyzer provides rapid, real-time, multi-stream reliable analysis of free ammonia in both drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. The online analyzer provides high frequency data on free ammonialevels in nine minutes with sensitivity down to 0.01 ppm.
SafeGuard™ Pro: Real-time Water Quality Analyzer Support System
SafeGuard™ Pro is a real-time water quality analyzer support system that maintains the integrity of online sensors by eliminating the risk of interferences that compromise their performance, allowing them to provide high-quality data needed to ensure the delivery of safe drinking water and effective treatment. The system eliminates the risk of misleading water quality data, reduces the financial burden of manual supervision, maintenance and replacement of sensors.
