MetalGuard monitors contaminants such as As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb, Ni, Se, U, V, and Zn with sensitivity down to 1 ppb and measurement times between thirty minutes and less than two hours. The fully automated online analyzer is offered with an annual service contract inclusive of a 10-year warranty.
Intelligent water treatment systems incorporate real-time sensing to ensure that their performance is optimized to avoid under- or over-treatment and that any deterioration in system performance is signaled to permit timely remedial intervention.
News: Innovative Hexavalent Chromium Treatment System Has Been Successfully Demonstrated at the City of Los Banos
AMS has completed the successful demonstration of their SafeGuard™ H2O proof of concept for the treatment of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) at the City of Los Banos in California. The novel technology generates a stannous ion reagent in-situ via an electrolytic process and also features an online Cr(VI) monitoring analyzer to ensure remediation of Cr(VI) to below 10 ppb.
News: Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Awards University of Massachusetts Amherst and Aqua Metrology Systems a Grant to Develop an Online Raw-Water THM-Precursor Analyzer
Aqua Metrology Systems and University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), have partnered to develop a robust online raw-water trihalomethanes (THMs) -precursor analyzer. On 23 January 2018 they received a commitment from Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) through its AmplifyMass program to cost share in the development and assessment of this new online THM-Precursor analyzer.

Application Brief: Tewksbury Water Treatment Plant Demonstrates Aeration System and Online THM Monitor
The Town of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, tested an aeration system for additional THM removal. The Tewksbury WTP measured real-time influent and effluent THM values using the online THM-100™ analyzer. Prior to using the online THM monitor, plant operators waited to receive analytical results from external analysis, often conservatively operating the facility since real-time THM values were not known. The real-time data provided by the online monitor made THM formation within the WTP and distribution system easy to identify.
