HollyFrontier Cheyenne Refining LLC, a subsidiary of HollyFrontier Corp., Dallas, has purchased and installed the MetalGuard™ Selenium online analyzer to measure the wastewater selenium profile at the Cheyenne Refinery, Cheyenne, Wyoming.

SafeGuard™ is an automated trace metals analyzer for monitoring municipal and industrial water and wastewater. The system provides real-time, multi-stream analysis for a range of trace metal contaminants. SafeGuard delivers accurate and reliable results (up to 1 ppb or ± 15%, whichever is higher) with a typical measurement time of fewer than 30 minutes.

The MetalGuard™ Selenium analyzer provides real-time, reliable, and accurate data on selenium levels, including selenite and selenate. Results are available as quick as 30 minutes or in less than two hours, with sensitivity down to 1 ppb for certain selenium species. The fully automated analyzer’s robust and stable design ensures it can maintain its sensitivity and calibrated status for an unlimited timeframe while operating reliably regardless of sample matrix conditions.

MetalGuard™ Arsenic is the first fully automated, online arsenic analyzer for monitoring drinking water arsenic levels. The online analyzer provides high frequency real-time data on arsenic contaminant levels in thirty minutes with sensitivity down to 1 ppb.
