Corrosion Monitoring & Control

Corrosion can have major economical and safety implications across municipal and industrial applications. Effective monitoring and control are necessary to combat corrosion. Careful review of inlet, process and finished water quality is required to provide early detection of potentially damaging corrosive conditions that may result in a corrosion-induced failure. By studying the correlation of changes in process parameters and their effect on system corrosivity, plant managers are able to understand the overall condition of their facility.

Online monitors or offline analyzers can be used to help monitor and control corrosion by providing real-time high frequency data on the contaminants most likely to be associated with corrosive environments such as iron, copper, nickel, chromium and more.
