Rick holds degrees from Cambridge and UCSB.

Carter Dougherty, EVP, Analytics, at AMS, brings over 20 years of industry experience driving operational excellence, innovation, and business growth. Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer, Carter helped strengthen AMS’s operational capabilities and scale its impact in the water sector. In his current role, Carter leads the AMS Analytics division, building on its market leadership in industrial and municipal water treatment while advancing data-driven analytical solutions that support sustainability and customer success.

Financial Controller

Christine Wang, Financial Controller at AMS, brings more than 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting operations, and strategic oversight. A Certified Public Accountant, Christine has supported the growth of multiple Silicon Valley–based technology companies, leading financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes. At AMS, Christine focuses on strengthening financial systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting informed decision-making to help drive sustainable growth.

Director of Engineering

Bryan Williams is the Director of Engineering at AMS who brings over 20 years of professional experience in electronic hardware, automation, and R&D. With a diverse background that includes roles at AMS as Operations Manager and Technical Services Manager, Bryan is responsible for leading the AMS engineering team and driving innovation and operational excellence.

Director of Business Development

Sean Burke, Director of Business Development at AMS, brings over 30 years of experience in the ultrapure and wastewater markets, including roles at Veolia and GE. At AMS, Sean is focused on expanding industrial sector growth and promoting the SafeGuard™ H2O technology, which produces environmentally friendly oxidants to address critical water sector challenges like PFAS and Azoles.
